Golf Etiquette
Stay quiet and stand still when the players are about to hit the ball.
‘Stand Still’ and ‘Be Quiet’ batons aloft are an indication for spectators to stop and be quiet while the golfers are playing their shots.
Never cross fairways except at designated crossover areas marked by signage.
For your own safety, follow the directions of the tournament marshals.

Suggested Golf Attire
Appropriate casual golf wear with comfortable walking shoes (soft spikes only).
Spectators should have these items on hand: wind breaker, hat/visor, sunscreen, sunglasses and umbrella.

Cameras
Cameras will only be allowed on practice days.

Mobile phones
As mobile phones can disrupt competitors during play, Doha Golf Club insists on having devises switched off while on the course or in grandstands.

Pets
No pets are allowed on Doha Golf Club premises.

Information centre

The Information Centre, located within the Clubhouse lobby, can offer assistance with travel and general enquiries.

Grandstand facilities

Approximately 600 seats are located around the course.

Scoreboards

A comprehensive service throughout the course and Tented Village will keep spectators fully informed. score board

Giant screens
Keep up-to-date with the action on the large screen located in the Tented Village.

Facilities for the disabled
Viewing facilities are available at a number of greens and in the Village for those in wheelchairs. Disabled toilets with ramps are located in close proximity.

Access to the course
Spectators can move freely around the golf course but please stay outside the ropes. Controlled crossing points which are clearly marked should be used when crossing fairways.

Safety
Please be reminded that under wet conditions the ground may become slippery and appropriate footwear should be worn.

Medical and first aid
Full medical and first aid facilities will be available in the Tented Village.

Catering facilities
There are many catering stations both on course and within the Tented Village.

Banking service
There is an ATM machine on-site, inside the Clubhouse. In addition, the Reception, inside the Clubhouse, has a foreign exchange service.

Official merchandise
We will have the biggest official Commercialbank Qatar Masters merchandise outlet to date at the 2009 event.

Our preferred suppliers are Ahead and Adidas/Taylor Made, and you can expect to find a high quality selection of official Commercialbank Qatar Masters merchandise.

Ahead is one of the largest apparel suppliers on the U.S. tour. They use many different embroidery and labeling techniques to produce an array of branded clothing. Purchase any Ahead cap and you can have your name or any inscription you choose put onto the back of the cap using the “aheaderiser”. This service is included and only takes a matter of minutes.

Adidas/Taylor Made have come in as an additional sponsor and will have their latest clothing and golf equipment ranges available.

In addition there will be signing sessions from Ahead and Taylor Made sponsored players. This will provide a great opportunity to meet some of the world’s best golfers and take home your personalized souvenirs.
