At just shy of 40, Denmark’s Thomas Bjorn played virtually mistake-free golf over the final two days of the 2011 Commercial Bank Qatar Masters to win it.
His final bogie of the tournament happened on day 2 at the 7th, and Bjorn ultimately won by four shots at -14, besting former CBQM champion Alvaro Quiros.
The victory was Bjorn’s 11th European Tour title.
