Swede Robert Karlsson had at least a share of the lead after each of the first three days, but Tony Johnstone simply fought the Shamal winds better than the rest on Sunday. On a day when the gusts caused many of the leaders to shoot in the mid-to-high 70s, Johnstone’s final round 70 put him at 14 under for the tournament, two shots better than runner-up Karlsson. For the well-liked Zimbabwean, it marked the final professional win of his career.
