2004 Winner, Joakim Haeggman

Prize Money: $1,500,000
Haeggman, the Swedish golfer/hockey player extraordinaire, pulled out a 1-stroke victory with a 16-under 272 over the four days. Haeggman sunk a 15-foot putt at the last green, leaving Nabuhito Sato in second, the closest a Japanese player has come to winning the Qatar Masters.
In one of the most closely contested Qatar Masters events, four players finished within two strokes of Haeggman.
