At age 43, Paul Lawrie of Scotland captured his second Qatar Masters title in February of 2012. He also won the second edition back in 1999. While blustering winds cut the event short to 54 holes, Lawrie’s fantastic run still saw him finishing 15 under par. In his final round, Lawrie chipped in twice – on the 9th and 17th – to finish four shots ahead of Jason Day (-11) and Peter Hanson (-11).
